Government of Karnataka, department of health & family welfare, Karnataka health system development reform project kind enough to give us an opportunity to start Mobile Health Clinic at Hangal Taluk in Haveri district & Magadi Taluk in Ramanagar District since March, 2010.
Our experience of running Mobile Health Clinic since 2010 is very satisfactory. After getting the project to run Mobile Health Clinic in rural areas, that is very interior remote and tribal needy people. When the Mobile unit vehicle at the service site the patients is to run & stand in a queue for getting their treatment that shows that people need free treatment at their door step by getting drugs for free of cost.
Especially old age & BPL people especiallypersons having hypertension, diabetes mellitus, chronic respiratory diseases, arthritis etc., and these cases need drugs for longer duration. Since most of them are BPL patients it’s not possible them to purchase all the drugs outside. If they discontinue the treatment in due course they may develop drastic complications.
