Course Description

The purpose of the General Nursing Program is to prepare a general nurse who will function as a member of the health team beginning with competencies for a first level position in both hospital and community.

The program is geared to the health needs of the country, the community, and the individual; and it will serve as a basis for advanced study and specialization in nursing; it will serve as basis for advanced study and specialization in Nursing; it will assist nurses in their personal and professional development so that they may make their maximum contribution to the society as individual citizens and nurses.

Course Overview :

Program Duration: 3 Years covering intensive theory classes, attending observation and supervised practice.

Duration of the Course:for PUC, 10+2 Students 3 years

Pass in PUC (10 + 2) with 40% aggregate marks with Science/Arts/Commerce from recognized PU Board Students shall be medically fit. The admission of students shall be once in an academic year. Minimum age 17 years, Maximum age 35 years
Certificate of passing the qualifying examination. Mark list of 10th, 12th and qualifying examination. Migration Certificate in original. Academic Transcript, Provisional Certificate, Character Certificate, Transfer Certificate or School Leaving Certificate.
